For now, the system is not optimized for more complex projects, such as online stores or platforms requiring advanced integrations.
Although AI-powered website builders are already common, this update aims to strengthen WordPress.com’s position against competitors like Wix and Squarespace, which offer similar solutions. However, as with other tools on the market, more detailed adjustments and advanced customizations still require some technical know-how. Over time, this may evolve as the AI learns from user modifications.
