Do you want to experience high-level sound without spending too much and without resorting to conventional brands? Anker has Soundcore, a firm specialized in quality audio. They, in turn, offer one of the best wireless over-ear headphones on the market. These are the Soundcore Space One Pro, a top-tier model in its class with an official price of $199.99, but which can be found for around €139.99 on Amazon.

We’ve previously tested the latest two models from Sony and some from Creative or Sennheiser, and the Soundcore ones are at a great level for their price. They’ll serve you well for gaming, music, and movies, delivering amazing quality, and their active noise cancellation is more than admirable.

Buy high-end sound at a mid-range price

The Soundcore headphones have a flexible and foldable structure that allows you to store them safely in their included rigid travel case. The headband is very comfortable for many hours of use, especially due to its low weight of 283 grams. The headband is divided into 5 segments, allowing you to adjust it to your liking.

In terms of sound, they sound fantastic. This is achieved through their large (40 mm) drivers with a triple diaphragm. They are compatible with Hi-Res audio and top-tier codecs like Sony’s LDAC, which allows for wireless transmission of up to 990 kbps. These headphones can handle frequencies between 20 Hz and 40,000 Hz – you’ll feel the music, not just hear it.

If you’re someone who uses headphones for calls or video calls continuously, these are a great purchase idea. They feature a very good active noise cancellation system, consisting of 6 microphones (3 in each earcup) with included AI that improves voice sound in calls and excellently discriminates against external noise.

Noise cancellation has a lot to do with battery life. In this model, you can get up to 60 hours without this function activated, and 40 hours with it connected at certain levels. To achieve greater autonomy, the simplest way is to use the integrated 3.5 mm Jack port. From the Soundcore app, you can manage multiple equalizers, as well as create your own. The 16-ohm impedance allows you to use these Space One Pros with any player, whether it’s your phone, a computer, the TV, or your laptop. The chassis has several physical buttons: to manage volume, activate noise cancellation, pause, and play music. It also supports some limited touch gestures.

Alternatives to the Soundcore Space One Pro

For a similar price, around $100-$180, in the current market there are several options that can compete with these Soundcore headphones. You could opt for the Audio-Technica M50xBT2 at $174, with great sound designed for studios and up to 50 hours of battery life. Or go for the Edifier ES850NB at 149 euros with exquisite sound and up to a beastly 92 hours of autonomy.
