Apple’s MacBook Air M2 Hits Record-Low Price of $749 in Unbeatable Prime Day Deal!

This $250 discount is the largest we’ve seen so far.

With October’s Prime Day quickly approaching, new deals have started to emerge in the final hours leading up to the event. One of the most notable offers is the MacBook Air with M2 processor, now available for $749. This means a $250 discount, marking a new record-low price for what we consider the best budget option in Apple’s laptop lineup.

In our initial review of the MacBook Air with M2 chip, we were highly impressed by its thinner design, the stunning 13.6-inch display, the excellent four-speaker configuration, and the strong performance of the M2 chip. It was our top choice as the best overall MacBook, though that title now belongs to the M3 model. However, the M2 Air remains an excellent option for those seeking a great laptop with solid performance, especially if they’re on a tighter budget or just looking to save some money.

One could argue, as Daniel Cooper pointed out, that one of the best outcomes of the MacBook Air M3 launch was the price drop on the M2 model. While the M3 chip offers some improvements, its performance is quite similar to the M2. So, while those wanting the latest technology should opt for an M3 device, the M2 is still more than enough for most day-to-day users. Considering that the M2 was originally priced at $1,200 when it launched in 2022 (and only dropped to $1,000 after the M3 debut), this deal becomes even more appealing.

Right now, Amazon is also offering discounts on other MacBook models. The MacBook Air with M3 chip is $200 off, now priced at $899, just $50 above its record-low price. Additionally, the 15-inch MacBook Air with M3 chip is also on sale with a $200 discount, bringing the price to $1,099.
