Pentagon Denies Foreign or Military Links to Mysterious New Jersey Drones

The Pentagon has clarified that the mysterious drones spotted over New Jersey and other areas of the northeastern U.S. are not U.S. military and do not appear to belong to a foreign entity. These statements were made during a press conference on Wednesday, one day after Congress expressed concern over the lack of information and action regarding these incursions.

The FBI reported during the hearing that it is investigating the case in collaboration with local authorities and has received over 3,000 sighting reports, although the origin of the drones remains unknown. Surprisingly, the budget allocated for counter-drone activities is only $500,000.

The FAA had restricted drone usage in parts of New Jersey following incidents at sensitive locations such as the Trump National Golf Club Bedminster and Picatinny Arsenal. Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh reiterated that there is no evidence suggesting the drones are from foreign adversaries or pose a direct threat to military facilities. She also debunked theories like the existence of an Iranian “mothership.”

Although the origin of these drones is still unknown, hypotheses range from secret military programs to unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP). Singh mentioned that some sightings could be commercial drones or small aircraft, emphasizing the need for further investigation. These drones have already caused concerns, including the disruption of a medical rescue operation in New Jersey.
